MiaBoats has been renting self-drive boats on Biscayne Bay since 2015. Our dock is at Rickenbacker Marina, 3301 Rickenbacker Causeway, on the way to Key Biscayne and just minutes from Brickell and downtown Miami.

- Sandbars close by. Nixon Sandbar, off the bay side of Key Biscayne, is the nearest sandbar to our dock.
- Calm water. Biscayne Bay is sheltered, which makes it a great place for families and first-time boaters.

- Free parking. Two parking passes come with every rental, so there is no need to drive into downtown.

- Nixon Sandbar: clear, shallow water for a swim and lunch on board.
- Stiltsville: the historic houses on stilts in Biscayne National Park, south of Cape Florida.
- Miami Marine Stadium basin: calm water near our marina, great for skyline photos.
- The Cape Florida Lighthouse: see the historic lighthouse at the tip of Key Biscayne from the water.

How booking works
- Choose your boat and pick a date and time: mornings 9:00 am to 1:00 pm or afternoons 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
- Pay online. You get a confirmation email with directions and everything to bring.
- Arrive 20 minutes early. If the driver was born on or after January 1, 1988, bring Florida boater education proof (here’s how to get it online).

Can we bring food and drinks?
Yes, in soft coolers. Please no glass or hard coolers. The ship store at the marina sells ice, snacks and drinks.
